Why I Do This Work
As a Nurse Practitioner, I've spent years at the bedside with patients and families facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives - decisions about treatment, quality of life, and end-of-life care. Too often, I saw people overwhelmed, unheard, or pushed into choices that didn't reflect their values.
I created Friend of the NP because everyone deserves compassionate, expert guidance when it matters most. My passion lies in helping individuals and families navigate healthcare system with clarity, dignity and peace of mind. I believe in care that honors the whole person - not just the diagnosis - and in empowering people to make decisions that truly align with what matters most to them and their families.
This work is deeply personal to me. I have seen first hand how the right support can change the course of care - and bring comfort even in the most uncertain times.
